FAQs
How often should I add Biokat's Active Pearls?
It is recommended to sprinkle the pearls over the litter as required. For best results, add a fresh layer after scooping waste, or whenever you notice odors beginning to return.
What makes Biokat's Active Pearls effective?
The effectiveness comes from the highly porous nature of activated charcoal, which has an enormous internal surface area to bind odor molecules, and the absorbent properties of natural clay.
Is Biokat's Active Pearls safe for my cat?
Yes, the product is made from 100% natural clay and activated charcoal derived from coconut shells, making it safe for use with cats.
Can I use Biokat's Active Pearls with any type of cat litter?
Yes, it is compatible with most types of cat litter and is designed to enhance their performance.
How much product should I use?
Sprinkle evenly over the litter as required. The exact amount can be adjusted based on the size of the litter box and the number of cats using it.
Where are Biokat's Active Pearls made?
Biokat's Active Pearls are made in Germany.
Does this product eliminate odors completely?
It significantly reduces and neutralizes odors. Effectiveness can vary based on usage frequency and the cat's habits. Regular application is key for optimal results.
Troubleshooting
Odor control not as effective as expected.
Ensure you are using the recommended dosage and reapply regularly. Check if the activated charcoal has reached its saturation point and needs replenishment. Ensure the litter box is being scooped daily.
Cat is hesitant to use the litter box.
Reduce the amount of Active Pearls used initially and gradually increase it. Some cats can be sensitive to changes in litter texture or scent.
Product seems to clump less effectively.
Confirm you are using a clumping litter. Active Pearls enhance existing clumping; they do not create it. Ensure an adequate amount is used and mixed in.
