Is this a running or lifestyle shoe?
While based on a 2008 running shoe, the ProGrid Ride 1 is currently positioned as a versatile lifestyle trainer for daily wear.
Are these true to size?
The ProGrid Ride 1 generally fits true to size for most adults, though those with wider feet may prefer to size up by half.
How do I keep the white upper clean?
Spot clean with a mixture of mild soap and water using a soft cloth, then allow to air dry.
Are these shoes unisex?
Yes, the ProGrid Ride 1 is designed as a unisex model.
What is the benefit of the shank cage?
The webbed shank cage provides critical structural support to the midfoot, helping to stabilize your step during walking.
Troubleshooting
Feeling pressure on the midfoot
Loosen the laces across the webbed shank cage area to provide more volume.
Creasing on the upper material
Use a shoe tree when not in use to help the upper retain its original shape.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Saucony ProGrid Ride 1 trainers last, follow these maintenance tips:
- Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, wear them for short periods over the first week to allow the foam to adapt to your gait.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals on the geometric metallic overlays to maintain their reflective quality.
- Drying: If the shoes get wet, air dry them naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, as these can warp the foam cushioning.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the white material from yellowing over time.
