FAQs
What is the main benefit of the Future 9 Match FG/AG boots?
The main benefit is enhanced ball control and agility for young players, thanks to the adaptive-fit upper, textured grip zones, and a soleplate designed for multi-directional movement.
Are these boots suitable for all types of pitches?
These boots feature an FG/AG soleplate, which is designed for firm natural grass and modern artificial grass pitches. They may not be optimal for very soft ground or older types of artificial turf.
How do I clean my child's football boots?
Wipe off excess dirt with a dry brush or cloth. For a deeper clean, use a slightly damp cloth. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat.
What makes the fit adaptive?
The adaptive fit comes from the combination of a breathable mesh upper, supportive tape, and a knit mid-cut collar that works together to conform to the foot for a secure and comfortable feel.
How does the ankle support work?
The ankle section has been adjusted for improved stability and lockdown, providing a more secure feel around the ankle during play.
Are these boots lightweight?
Yes, the design emphasizes being lightweight and flexible to support natural movement and agility on the pitch.
What age group are these boots intended for?
These boots are specifically designed for kids and youth players.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable
Ensure the correct size has been purchased. Try loosening the laces and relacing for a custom fit. Wear with appropriate football socks. If discomfort persists after a few wears, consider if the fit is suitable for the child's foot shape.
Traction seems poor on the pitch
Ensure the studs are clean and free from mud or debris. Check that the boots are being used on the intended FG/AG surface. For very wet or muddy conditions, FG/AG boots may offer less grip than specialized soft ground (SG) boots.
Laces keep coming undone
Ensure laces are tied securely with a double knot. Consider replacing laces with a more durable, anti-slip type if this is a recurring issue.
Materials showing wear after limited use
Review care instructions for proper cleaning and drying. Avoid harsh playing conditions if possible. If wear seems excessive or due to a defect, contact the retailer or manufacturer regarding warranty.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
These boots are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure the correct size is chosen for a comfortable fit. Adjust laces as needed for optimal lockdown.
Compatibility:
The FG/AG (Firm Ground/Artificial Grass) soleplate is designed for use on natural grass pitches and newer generations of artificial grass. Performance may vary on older or different types of artificial surfaces, or very wet/muddy conditions.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt with a dry brush or cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh detergents or soaking the boots in water.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in a tumble dryer, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Using a boot bag can help maintain their condition.
