FAQs
Does the SKIMS Rib Tank run true to size?
The tank is designed for a slim, form-fitting look. If you prefer a less body-conscious fit, you may want to size up.
Can I tumble dry this item?
Yes, but you must use the 'low' heat setting to prevent the cotton from shrinking or losing its shape.
Is this tank suitable for layering?
Absolutely. The sleek, fitted design makes it an ideal base layer that doesn't add unwanted bulk under sweaters or blazers.
What is the material composition?
The product is crafted from high-quality, breathable cotton designed for comfort and stretch.
Does the white version show through?
The ribbed cotton is opaque, but as with many white cotton garments, it is recommended to wear skin-tone undergarments for the best coverage.
Troubleshooting
The tank feels too tight after washing
Ensure you are using the 'low heat' setting on your dryer. Excessive heat can cause natural cotton fibers to contract.
Fabric appears to lose some elasticity
Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can coat the fibers and affect the natural elasticity of the ribbed weave.
Pros and Cons

- Timeless and versatile design

Cons

- Requires specific laundry care to maintain shape
- Sizing can feel snug for those between sizes
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your SKIMS Rib Tank, follow these care guidelines closely. The fabric is durable but sensitive to high-heat drying and harsh cleaning chemicals.
- Washing: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to preserve the integrity of the ribbing.
- Bleaching: Never use bleach, as it can damage the cotton fibers and affect the color consistency.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting. Avoid high heat to prevent unnecessary shrinkage.
- Ironing: Use a cool iron if needed, though the fabric's stretch typically helps it smooth out while worn.
- Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean, as the chemicals used in the process can weaken the material.
