FAQs

Is this fleece waterproof?

No, this fleece is designed for insulation and is not waterproof. It should be worn under a waterproof shell in wet conditions.

Can I wear this as a base layer?

It is intended to be a mid-layer. While soft, it is most effective when worn over a dedicated moisture-wicking base layer.

What material is it made of?

The garment is constructed from 100% polyester, chosen for its durability and lightweight thermal properties.

Does it have side pockets?

This model features a single zipped chest pocket for secure storage of small items.

How should I store this fleece?

Store it hanging or folded in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the fabric integrity.

Troubleshooting

Zip feels stiff or sticks

Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and gently clean the zip track with a soft brush to remove any debris.

Pilling on the fabric surface

Pilling is common with synthetic fibers; use a fabric shaver or depiller to carefully remove surface bobbles.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Lightweight and ideal for layering
Soft brushed interior for skin comfort
Effective thermal insulation from textured fabric
Zippered chest pocket for secure storage

Cons

Half-zip design offers less ventilation than a full-zip
Specific to men's sizing which may not fit all body types
Not windproof on its own

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because this is a technical apparel item, maintenance is key to preserving its insulation properties. To care for your fleece, machine wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can clog the fibers and reduce the material's breathability and moisture-wicking efficiency. Always air dry the garment; avoid tumble drying on high heat as this can damage the polyester texture. Ensure you check the internal garment tag for specific care instructions before your first wash.
