FAQs

Can I use these without a muffin pan?

Yes, these cups are specifically designed to be sturdy enough to stand alone on a baking sheet during the baking process.

Are these cups microwave safe?

No, the metallic gold trim can be hazardous in a microwave. Use them only in conventional ovens.

How many cups come in a pack?

Each pack contains 50 individual muffin cases.

Are these cups suitable for candy making?

Yes, they are versatile enough for candies, petit fours, and other small treats.

Do I need to grease the cups?

While not strictly required for standard cupcake batters, a light spray of non-stick oil may help if you are baking a particularly sticky recipe.

Troubleshooting

The cupcake case is tilting or losing shape.

Ensure the batter is not too heavy or wet. If the batter is dense, place the cups closer together on your baking sheet so they support one another.

The gold trim is sparking or looking damaged.

The metallic trim is not microwave-safe. Ensure you are only using these in a traditional oven.

Decorative gold-trimmed edge adds a premium look.
Sturdy enough to stand alone without needing a muffin tin.
Versatile size for various desserts and treats.
Ideal for festive displays and event catering.
Maintains structural integrity during heat exposure.

Cons

Not suitable for extremely heavy or wet batters that may soak through.
Metallic trim should not be used in the microwave.
Single-use items which may not be ideal for those seeking reusable liners.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To use these cups, simply place them on a flat, heat-safe baking tray. While they are designed as standalone units, placing them on a tray makes it easier to move them in and out of the oven safely. Regarding compatibility, these cups are safe for standard oven temperatures suitable for cake and muffin baking. Please note that because they feature a metallic gold trim, they must not be placed inside a microwave, as the metallic components can cause arcing. After your event, these cases are intended for disposal; however, ensure you remove them from the environment safely after use.
