Troubleshooting

Microphone not holding securely

Ensure the microphone capsule is fully seated in the clip and that the clip's opening is not obstructed. Check if the clip's tension has weakened over time; if so, consider using a new clip from the pack.

Clip feels too tight or too loose on fabric

Experiment with different fabric thicknesses or locations for attachment. The clip is designed for typical shirt collars and lapels; very thick or very thin materials may offer less ideal grip.

Clip broke or damaged

Inspect the clip for visible damage. If broken, use one of the spare clips provided in the pack. Contact RODE support if damage occurred shortly after purchase and appears to be a manufacturing defect.
