Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation is Key: Ensure exterior masonry surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose paint, dirt, or algae. Power wash or scrub the surface as needed and allow it to dry thoroughly. Prime bare or previously painted surfaces with a suitable exterior masonry primer. For previously painted surfaces in poor condition, a mist coat of thinned masonry paint may be beneficial.
Compatibility: This paint is specifically formulated for exterior masonry surfaces such as brick, render, concrete, and stucco. It is not suitable for use on wood, metal, or interior walls.
Application: Stir the paint thoroughly before and during use. Apply with a good quality masonry brush or roller. Two coats are typically recommended for best results. Avoid applying in direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or when rain is imminent. Allow adequate drying time between coats as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Care: Once dry, the finish is durable. Clean any light marks or dirt with a damp cloth and mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly afterward. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
