FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for marathon training?
Yes, the cushioning and stability features of the Winflo 12 make them well-suited for the mileage requirements of marathon training.
Can I use these for gym workouts?
While designed primarily for running, their stability makes them acceptable for light gym activities, though they are not specifically optimized for heavy lifting.
How often should I replace my Winflo 12 trainers?
It is generally recommended to replace running shoes every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running surface and gait.
Do these provide arch support?
The structure provides a neutral level of support designed to maintain foot alignment for most runners.
How should I clean the mesh upper?
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and a damp cloth with mild detergent to gently scrub stained areas, then allow to air dry.
Troubleshooting
Feeling pressure points on the top of the foot
Try adjusting the lacing pattern to a 'window' or 'gap' lacing technique to relieve pressure on the sensitive areas.
Excessive moisture accumulation
Ensure you are using technical, moisture-wicking running socks rather than standard cotton socks.
Soles feeling slippery on wet surfaces
Wipe the outsole with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris, and avoid sudden turns on extremely smooth, wet surfaces.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Nike Winflo 12 trainers remain in top condition, follow these guidelines: For setup, ensure you select your correct UK size, noting that performance footwear often runs slightly different from casual sneakers; consider wearing your preferred running socks when testing the fit. Compatibility-wise, these shoes are designed for standard male foot anatomy and function best on paved, crushed stone, or packed dirt surfaces. For care, avoid machine washing as this can damage the foam cushioning. Instead, clean the exterior with a soft cloth and mild soap. If the shoes become soaked during a run, remove the insoles and let them air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can degrade the adhesive and material flexibility.
