These clips are specifically designed for 2.5mm flat twin and earth cables.
Each pack contains 100 cable clips.
The cable clips are grey.
Each clip measures approximately 100mm in length and 10mm in width.
While durable, they are generally intended for indoor electrical installations. Prolonged exposure to elements may affect their integrity.
No, these clips are specifically sized for 2.5mm flat twin and earth cable and may not provide a secure fit or could damage other cable types.
Ensure the correct cable size is used (2.5mm flat twin and earth). Verify the clip is fully hammered into the surface and is not loose.
Use a lighter hammer or less force when tapping the clip into place. For harder surfaces, pre-drilling a small pilot hole may be beneficial (use with caution).
Ensure you are using adequate, but not excessive, force. The clip might be faulty, or the surface may be too hard for direct fixing without pre-drilling.
Setup: To install, place the cable into the clip opening. Then, using a hammer, gently tap the base of the clip into the desired surface (e.g., wood, plasterboard). Ensure the clip is firmly seated but avoid excessive force that could damage the surface or the clip.
Compatibility: These clips are specifically designed for 2.5mm flat twin and earth cables. They are not intended for round cables, larger gauge cables, or other types of wiring.
Care: Keep the clips in a dry environment before installation. Once installed, they require no maintenance. Periodically check installed clips to ensure they remain secure and are not damaged.
