Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or peeling paint. For wood, light sanding is recommended to create a "key" for the paint to adhere to; for metal, ensure any rust is treated and a suitable metal primer is used. Stir the paint thoroughly before use to ensure the pigments are properly mixed. Application is best achieved using a high-quality synthetic brush for trim or a short-pile mohair roller for larger flat areas like doors. To maintain the finish, use a soft, damp cloth with mild soapy water for cleaning; avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these can dull the satin sheen over time. Always store the tin in a cool, dry place and ensure the lid is tightly sealed to prevent the formula from drying out.
