Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maintain the integrity of the scuba fabric and the vibrant print, it is essential to follow proper care protocols. Always check the internal garment tag for specific temperature settings. Generally, for scuba dresses, a gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag or hand washing in cool water is preferred to protect the fabric's structure. Avoid using harsh bleaching agents or high-heat drying, as these can cause the fabric to lose its shape or damage the print. When storing, hanging the dress on a wide, padded hanger will help the dipped hem maintain its drape and prevent unwanted creases. If the zipper feels stiff, applying a small amount of paraffin wax to the teeth can improve glide without damaging the surrounding fabric.
