Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Unpack all components, and ensure you have the necessary tools (screwdriver, etc.).
- Mounting: Install the cooler onto your CPU, following the included instructions for your specific socket type (LGA 1700, Socket AM4, etc.).
- Fan and Pump Connection: Connect the fan and pump to the appropriate headers on your motherboard. The fans use a 4-pin PWM connector for speed control.
- ARGB Connection: Connect the ARGB cables to your motherboard or an optional iCUE controller.
- Software Installation (Optional): If using the iCUE software, download and install it to customize the lighting and control fan speeds.
Compatibility
The Corsair Nautilus 240 RS ARGB supports a wide range of Intel and AMD sockets including LGA 1700, Socket AM4, and Socket AM5. Always double-check your motherboard and CPU compatibility before purchase. Ensure that your PC case has enough space to accommodate the 240mm radiator and fans.
Care
- Dusting: Regularly clean the radiator and fans with compressed air to remove dust and maintain optimal airflow.
- Inspections: Periodically inspect the tubing and connections for any leaks or damage.
- Coolant: This is a sealed unit, so there's no need to refill the coolant. Do not attempt to open the unit.
- Storage: If storing the cooler for an extended period, keep it in a cool, dry place.
