Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Attach the monitor stand to the monitor base and then connect it to the monitor panel. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Connect your computer or device using the appropriate cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C). For USB-C, ensure your device supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and Power Delivery if you intend to use those features.
- Connect the power adapter and plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect any peripherals (keyboard, mouse) to the USB-A ports on the monitor if using its hub functionality.
- Connect the RJ45 cable for wired internet if needed.
Compatibility:
The monitor is compatible with any computer or device featuring HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, or USB-C (with DisplayPort Alt Mode) outputs. The USB-C port supports up to 96W of Power Delivery, making it compatible with most modern laptops requiring charging. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices.
Care:
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. For stubborn smudges, a screen cleaner specifically designed for LCD monitors can be used.
- Ventilation: Ensure the monitor is placed in a well-ventilated area and do not block the vents on the back of the unit.
- Cable Management: Utilize the built-in cable management features to keep your desk tidy and prevent cable strain.
- Ergonomics: Adjust the stand regularly to maintain an optimal and comfortable viewing position to prevent strain.
