They offer protection against standard dinner plates, but it is recommended to use additional heat pads for cookware or items directly off the stove.
No, you should never submerge these mats in water or use a dishwasher, as the moisture will damage the natural rattan.
Each mat measures 38 centimetres in diameter.
Each purchase includes a set of 6 placemats.
While the rattan provides some friction, if you find they move, you can place a small clear silicone grip dot on the underside.
Use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum with a brush attachment to gently dislodge debris from the spiral pattern.
Lay the mat flat on a level surface and place a heavy, flat object (like a large book) on top for 24 hours to help it regain its intended shape.
Setting up your table with Biznest rattan mats is simple: center each mat directly in front of the seating position. These mats are compatible with almost all standard dinnerware styles. To ensure longevity, avoid placing extremely hot pots or pans directly onto the rattan to prevent burning. To clean, wipe down with a slightly damp cloth to remove spills or dust. Avoid submerging the mats in water or using harsh chemical cleaners, as this can degrade the natural fibers and cause warping or color fading.
