Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin using your Awesafe Earmuffs, insert the required batteries into the designated compartment. Ensure the polarity matches the markings inside the housing to prevent power issues. Test the device by turning the volume knob to the 'on' position and listening for a faint static hiss, which indicates the microphones are active.
For care and maintenance:
- Wipe the exterior with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not submerge the earmuffs in water.
- Replace the ear pads if they become cracked or lose their seal to maintain the 24dB NRR rating.
- Store the earmuffs in a cool, dry place and remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
