Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
- Unpack: Gently remove the curtains from their packaging. You may notice creases from packing; these will often relax with hanging, or you can use a cool iron on the face of the fabric.
- Install Hooks (if needed): If using with curtain hooks (not included), attach them evenly along the tape-top header. The number of hooks will depend on the width of your curtains and track/pole.
- Hang: Drape the curtains onto your chosen curtain track or pole. Ensure they are evenly spaced for an aesthetically pleasing look and optimal light blockage.
- Adjust: Draw the curtains fully to check for proper coverage and adjust the folds for desired appearance.
Compatibility
These curtains, with their black color and textured linen-look design, are highly versatile and fit perfectly with most interior decors. They are compatible with standard curtain tracks and poles designed for tape-top headers.
Care
Maintaining your Dallas Blackout Curtains is simple with these steps:
- Hand wash only: Fill a basin with cool water and a mild detergent. Submerge the curtains and gently agitate. Rinse thoroughly until all detergent is removed.
- Do not bleach: Bleach can damage the fabric and affect the color.
- Do not tumble dry: Hang dry naturally to avoid shrinking or damage.
- Cool Iron on Face: If wrinkles persist, iron on a cool setting only on the face (visible side) of the curtain fabric. Avoid ironing the blackout lining directly if possible, or use a very low heat setting.
