Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure laces are tight but comfortable to secure the integrated Flyknit collar around your ankle, maximizing the locked-in feel.
- First Wear: Due to the zero break-in time, the boots should feel comfortable from your very first session. Walk around to get accustomed to the fit before playing.
Compatibility
These boots are SG-Pro (Soft Ground Pro), featuring durable metal-tipped studs. They are specifically designed for:
- Soft, Natural Grass Pitches: Ideal for wet, muddy, or extremely soft natural grass surfaces.
Do NOT use these boots on:
- Firm Ground (FG)
- Artificial Ground (AG)
- Hard Ground (HG)
- Indoor surfaces
Using them on incompatible surfaces can damage the studs, the soleplate, and potentially cause injury.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, gently tap off excess mud. Use a soft brush or cloth with lukewarm water to clean the upper and soleplate. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Anti-Clog Maintenance: While the technology reduces mud buildup, a quick rinse of the soleplate will ensure longevity and optimal performance.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the materials and cause the upper to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with newspaper stuffed inside to absorb moisture and help retain their shape.
- Stud Inspection: Regularly check the metal-tipped studs for any signs of wear or damage. While non-removable, ensuring they are clean will help maintain their grip.
