The Grass & Air Rainster Jacket is designed for active children who need reliable protection during outdoor play, regardless of the weather. Crafted from ultra-soft, waterproof PU fabric with heat-sealed seams, this jacket excels at keeping kids dry and comfortable during school commutes or weekend adventures. While it offers excellent moisture resistance and durability, users should note that as a dedicated waterproof shell, it is best utilized as an outer layer and does not feature heavy internal insulation.

The Rainster Jacket is a waterproof shell. It is excellent for wet weather but provides minimal insulation, so we recommend wearing layers underneath during colder months.
No, high heat from a tumble dryer can damage the PU fabric and the heat-sealed seams. Always air dry the jacket.
Yes, the Rainster design features an integrated hood to provide comprehensive head and neck protection against rain.
Wipe it down with a damp cloth for minor dirt. For a full clean, hand wash or use a delicate cycle with a mild detergent, avoiding any fabric softeners.
The PU material is designed for maximum water protection. While it is comfortable and flexible, it is a solid barrier, so layering with breathable base layers is recommended for high-activity play.
Check the garment for any tears in the PU fabric. If the fabric is intact, ensure the jacket is cleaned of dirt and soap residue that may be inhibiting the waterproof finish.
Use a soft sponge and mild soap with lukewarm water. Avoid abrasive scrubbing brushes that could damage the outer waterproof layer.
To ensure the longevity of the waterproof PU fabric and heat-sealed seams, keep the jacket away from direct high-heat sources like radiators, as excessive heat can compromise the sealant. Cleaning should be done by wiping the surface with a damp cloth to remove mud and dirt. For deeper cleaning, follow the care label instructions strictly, typically involving a cool wash. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can degrade the waterproof coating over time. Always ensure the jacket is completely dry before storing it to prevent mildew.
