Product Information

Full details

The Caecus Day Night Roller Blind in Light Grey is ideal for homeowners and office managers seeking versatile light control and privacy. Its key benefit is the dual-layer fabric that allows for diffused light during the day and complete blackout at night. A potential caveat is that the light diffusion layer may not offer full privacy when viewed from extreme angles in bright daylight.

FAQs

What is the difference between the translucent and opaque layers?

The translucent layer diffuses light and reduces glare, offering a soft ambiance. The opaque layer completely blocks light and ensures maximum privacy when engaged.

Can these blinds be cut to size?

While some roller blinds can be trimmed, it is best to consult the specific product manual or contact customer support for guidance on whether this model can be adjusted.

How much light do the blinds block when fully closed?

When the opaque layer is fully deployed, the blinds block nearly all light, providing blackout conditions.

Are these blinds suitable for humid environments like bathrooms?

Yes, they are made from durable materials suitable for most indoor environments, including bathrooms, provided they are allowed to dry if they get wet.

What is the warranty period for these blinds?

The product information states that the blinds come with a full warranty, but specific duration details should be confirmed with the retailer or manufacturer documentation.

How do I clean the mechanism of the roller blind?

Gently wipe the roller mechanism with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using lubricants unless specified by the manufacturer, as they can attract dust.

What colors are available besides light grey?

The product description mentions a wide range of colors and patterns are available to complement any décor style.

Troubleshooting

Blind does not lower or raise smoothly.

Check for any obstructions in the track or mechanism. Ensure the fabric is not twisted or caught. Clean the roller mechanism gently.

The light grey fabric has minor marks.

Use a slightly damp, soft cloth to gently wipe the affected area. For tougher stains, a mild soap solution may be applied sparingly, followed by a clean damp cloth wipe-down.

Blind feels unstable when mounted.

Ensure all mounting brackets are securely fastened to the wall or frame. Verify that the blind is correctly seated in its brackets.

Translucent layer shows too much when closed.

This is normal for the diffusion layer. For full privacy, ensure the opaque layer is fully deployed.

Setup: Installation typically involves mounting brackets to the window frame or wall, followed by clipping the blind assembly into place. Ensure you have the correct tools, such as a drill and screwdriver. Always follow the specific installation manual provided with your blinds for precise steps.

Compatibility: These roller blinds are designed for standard window sizes and can often be trimmed to fit custom dimensions. They are suitable for use in most indoor rooms, including living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms.
