Troubleshooting

Brite Light torch not activating

Check the internal battery compartment for proper seating and ensure the activation switch is not blocked by debris.

Water soaking through the fabric

The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may have worn off; apply a technical re-proofing spray and tumble dry on a low heat setting to reactivate the water resistance.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Integrated LED sleeve torch for extra safety
High level of waterproofing with Isotex 10000
Comprehensive 360-degree reflective trim
Warm insulation suitable for winter months
Internal address label for easy identification

Cons

Requires careful washing to maintain fabric performance
Drawcord features only available on specific age-appropriate sizes
Electronics in the sleeve require care during laundering

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the jacket performs at its best, always fasten the zip and secure all closures before washing. Because the jacket features an integrated light, please check the sleeve compartment instructions carefully before machine washing to avoid damaging the electrical components. Avoid using harsh biological detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproof coating from the polyester fabric. For best results, use a dedicated technical cleaner and re-proof the garment if water stops beading on the surface.
