No, the Regatta Thompson is designed for warmth and breathability, not as a waterproof garment. It should be paired with a shell in wet weather.
It uses 170 gsm (grams per square meter) Symmetry fleece, which is considered a lightweight material.
While you could, it is intended to be worn as a midlayer over a base layer for optimal moisture management.
The anti-pill finish is designed for high durability, but it works best when the garment is washed according to the care label instructions.
The Regatta Thompson is designed as a regular fit, providing enough room to accommodate a base layer underneath without feeling overly baggy.
Wash the garment separately or with similar synthetic materials and avoid over-drying in the machine.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and gently clean the zip area with a soft brush to remove any grit or dirt.
This garment requires no special setup. To maintain the integrity of the Symmetry fleece, machine wash it in cool water and avoid using harsh fabric softeners that can clog the technical fibers. Tumble dry on a low setting or, preferably, air dry to prolong the life of the fabric. Because of its polyester composition, the fleece is highly durable and resistant to shrinking when proper care instructions are followed.
