The Salomon XC Roam trainers are not fully waterproof. They offer some resistance to light moisture but are not designed for submersion or heavy rain.

The XC Roam trainers are inspired by Salomon's technical features but are designed for everyday comfort and style. Traditional trail running shoes typically have more aggressive tread patterns, enhanced waterproofing, and are built for more demanding off-road conditions.

Refer to the size chart provided by Salomon and measure your foot length. These trainers are designed for a standard fit, but if you are between sizes or prefer more room, consider sizing up.

It is not recommended to machine wash these trainers, as it can damage the materials and construction. Hand wash with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, and air dry.

The Contagrip® sole is designed for versatility and provides reliable traction on a variety of surfaces, including urban pavement, dry trails, gravel, and packed earth.

The lifespan depends on usage frequency and intensity. With regular care and moderate use for their intended purpose (everyday wear and light trails), they should provide reliable performance for a considerable time.

This is common with new footwear. Wear them for short periods initially and gradually increase the duration to allow the shoes to break in and conform to your foot.

While the Contagrip® sole offers good grip, performance may be reduced on extremely wet or slippery surfaces. Exercise caution and consider shoes with more aggressive tread for such conditions.

This can sometimes occur due to friction between different parts of the shoe. Check if the insole is properly seated. A light dusting of talcum powder under the insole may help reduce squeaking.
