FAQs
What is Abzorb cushioning?
Abzorb is New Balance's proprietary cushioning technology designed to absorb shock effectively, providing a comfortable and protective feel.
Are these shoes suitable for long-distance running?
These trainers are best suited for everyday running and casual wear. For very long distances or specialized training, consider models designed specifically for endurance.
How should I clean the nubuck parts?
Use a specialized nubuck cleaner or a dry brush to remove dirt. For stains, a slightly damp cloth can be used carefully, followed by air drying.
Do these trainers offer good ankle support?
The Abzorb 2010 provides moderate support through its design and overlays. For users requiring significant ankle stability, additional support features might be needed.
Can I wear these in wet conditions?
While the mesh upper offers breathability, it is not waterproof. Avoid wearing in heavy rain or wet environments to keep feet dry.
What other colours or sizes are available?
This specific model is available in Green with Yellow accents. Please check the product listings for other available sizes, such as UK 7, UK 6.5, UK 10, UK 8.5, UK 9.5, and UK 8.
Troubleshooting
Sizing feels incorrect
Refer to the New Balance sizing chart and measure your foot. Consider trying on different sizes if possible, as fit can vary.
Reduced cushioning over time
The Abzorb cushioning may naturally compress with extended use. For optimal performance, consider replacing trainers after significant mileage (typically 300-500 miles).
Mesh upper shows signs of wear
Avoid snagging the mesh on rough surfaces. Clean gently to prevent further damage.
