Care Instructions
To maintain the appearance and longevity of your ASICS Gel-Venture 6 Trainers, follow these care guidelines:
- Regular Cleaning: After each use, wipe down any visible dirt or dust with a soft, dry cloth. This prevents buildup and preserves the material.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor scuffs or marks on the synthetic and leather upper, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap (e.g., dish soap). Gently rub the area, then wipe clean with a fresh damp cloth. For mesh inserts, use a soft-bristled brush (like an old toothbrush) to remove dirt, then wipe with a damp cloth.
- Drying: Always allow your trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Never use direct heat sources like radiators, hairdryers, or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials, especially the leather and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Consider using shoe trees or stuffing them with paper to help maintain their original shape.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles periodically to air them out. You can also use shoe deodorizers or baking soda sprinkled inside the trainers overnight (remove before wearing) to control odors.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Washing machines can damage the structural integrity, cushioning, and bonding agents of your trainers, leading to premature wear.
