Full details
The Teva Hurricane XLT3 is an adventure-ready sandal designed for active adults seeking comfort and durability. Its key benefit is the improved cushioning and secure fit, making it ideal for hiking and everyday wear. A potential caveat is that the quick-dry straps, while effective, may require specific care to maintain their integrity.

FAQs
Are the Teva Hurricane XLT3 suitable for wide feet?
The Universal Strapping System™ allows for significant adjustment, which can accommodate a range of foot widths. It's recommended to try them on if possible or consult size guides for the best fit.
Can I wear these sandals in saltwater?
Yes, you can wear them in saltwater. However, it is crucial to rinse them thoroughly with fresh water after each use and air dry them away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
How do the straps dry so quickly?
The straps are made from a special polyester material (100% recycled REPREVE®) that is designed to shed water efficiently and dry rapidly when exposed to air.
What is the main difference between the XLT2 and XLT3 models?
The XLT3 features an updated, cushier topsole with an additional 5mm of EVA for improved comfort, and a new version of the Spider Rubber® Endure outsole with an enhanced lug pattern for better grip and stability.
Are these sandals good for long-distance hiking?
The Hurricane XLT3 offers good comfort and support for moderate hiking. For very long-distance or technical trails, hiking boots might offer more specialized protection and support.
How durable is the FuseLock™ Velcro?
The FuseLock™ system is designed to be twice as strong as traditional Velcro, offering a more secure and reliable closure that should withstand regular use.
Troubleshooting
Straps not staying secure
Ensure the FuseLock™ Velcro is clean and free from debris. Re-adjust the straps at all three points for a tighter fit.
Discomfort or rubbing
Adjust the strap positions for a better fit. Ensure the sandal is the correct size. Break them in on shorter walks before longer excursions.
Slipping on wet surfaces
Ensure the Spider Rubber® Endure outsole is clean. The updated lug pattern improves grip, but extreme conditions may still pose a challenge. Dry the sandals thoroughly after use.
Material discoloration
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and harsh chemicals. Clean with mild soap and water only.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Compatibility: These sandals are designed for adult use and are suitable for a range of activities including hiking, walking, and general outdoor recreation.

- Cleaning Straps: Hand wash the straps with mild soap and cold water. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach. Rinse thoroughly.
