Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Lacing: Begin by loosening the laces completely. Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back.
- Tongue Adjustment: Unfold the tongue and position it over your instep. The fold-over design is secured with a strap; ensure it lies flat and comfortably over your laces, providing a clean striking surface.
- Tightening Laces: Starting from the bottom eyelets, gradually tighten the laces evenly, working your way up. Ensure the fit is snug but not uncomfortably tight, allowing for natural foot movement.
- Final Check: Walk around and make sure there are no pressure points or excessive movement. Adjust lacing as needed.
Compatibility:
These boots are specifically designed with a rubber outsole for optimal performance on artificial turf (astro turf) surfaces. They are not recommended for natural grass, firm ground, soft ground, or indoor courts, as this can compromise grip, durability, and player safety.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove any loose dirt or debris with a soft brush. Wipe the synthetic upper and rubber outsole with a damp cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the material.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can cause materials to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb residual moisture.
- Maintenance: Regularly check laces for wear and tear, and replace them if necessary to maintain a secure fit. Inspect the outsole for excessive wear to ensure optimal grip.
