FAQs

What is Isotex 10000 fabric?

Isotex 10000 is Regatta's waterproof, breathable, and windproof fabric. It has a waterproof rating of 10,000mm and a breathability rating of 10,000g/m²/24 hours.

How do I wash my Regatta Matt II jacket?

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) with a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and tumble dry on a low setting or line dry.

Can I iron the jacket?

No, do not iron the jacket. The heat can damage the fabric and affect its waterproof properties.

How often should I re-proof the jacket?

Re-proof the jacket after washing, or when you notice the water is no longer beading on the surface.

What kind of activities is this jacket suitable for?

The jacket is suitable for hiking, walking, travel, and everyday use in wet conditions.

What is the warranty on the Regatta Matt II jacket?

Regatta offers a standard warranty against manufacturing defects. Contact Regatta customer service for specific warranty details.

Are the pockets waterproof?

The pockets are water-resistant but not fully waterproof. They offer protection from light rain and splashes.

Troubleshooting

Water is seeping through the jacket.

Check if the jacket is clean. Dirt can affect the waterproof properties. Wash and re-proof the jacket as per the care instructions. Also, check for any damage to the seams.

Poor breathability, causing condensation inside the jacket.

Ensure the jacket is not too tight. Layering correctly will help with breathability. Reduce the intensity of your activity or consider wearing a more breathable base layer.

Zippers are difficult to operate.

Clean the zippers with a damp cloth. Apply a zipper lubricant for smoother operation.

Hood adjusters not working.

Check for any obstructions in the adjusters. Ensure the cords are not tangled. If the problem persists, contact Regatta customer service.
