Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Nike Phantom 6 Academy High FG MG boots are designed for immediate use out of the box. It is recommended to wear them for a short period, perhaps during training drills, to allow them to mold to your foot's unique shape. Ensure laces are tied securely but not overly tight to allow for natural foot movement.
Compatibility: These boots are classified as MultiGround (FG/MG), meaning they are suitable for use on both traditional natural grass pitches and modern artificial grass surfaces. Avoid using them on hard surfaces like concrete or asphalt, as this can damage the studs and affect performance.
Care: To maintain the performance and longevity of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt and mud using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Stuff the boots with newspaper or use a boot dryer on a low setting to absorb moisture. Never dry them near direct heat sources like radiators or fires, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, preferably in a boot bag, away from direct sunlight.
- Laces: Inspect laces regularly for wear and tear and replace if necessary.
