Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Barbour Dena Wellingtons last, proper care is essential:
- Cleaning: After each use, rinse off mud and debris with cool water. Allow the boots to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the rubber to crack.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dark place. Keeping them upright and out of direct sunlight prevents the rubber from degrading or fading over time.
- Maintenance: Periodically apply a rubber conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent 'blooming' (a white powdery appearance common in natural rubber).
- Fit: These boots are designed for a standard adult fit. If you intend to wear thick winter socks, consider if your standard shoe size offers enough room for comfort.
