Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Regatta Edgepoint IV hiking shoes, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: Wear them around the house or on short walks before tackling a long-distance hike to allow the padding to contour to your feet.
- Cleaning: After use, brush off dried mud with a soft-bristled brush. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth; avoid submerging them in a washing machine, as this can degrade the waterproof membrane.
- Drying: Air-dry the shoes in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can crack the TPR outsole or damage the fabric.
- Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry place to prevent mold growth on the lining.
- Lacing: Ensure laces are tightened evenly from the bottom up to maintain consistent tension and prevent pressure points on the top of the foot.
