FAQs
Are the Handball Spezial suitable for playing handball?
While inspired by the original handball shoe, the Handball Spezial is primarily a lifestyle sneaker. They offer good comfort and traction for casual wear but may not provide the specialized support and cushioning required for intense handball play.
How do I clean the Chalk White Collegiate Green colorway?
For the suede parts, use a suede brush to remove dirt and a specialized suede cleaner for stains. Wipe the leather and rubber parts with a damp cloth. Always allow the shoes to air dry.
What type of socks are best with these shoes?
These low-top shoes pair well with ankle socks or no-show socks for a clean look. Standard crew socks also work for a more casual aesthetic.
Can I machine wash my Handball Spezial?
It is not recommended to machine wash the shoes as it can damage the materials, especially the suede. Spot clean using appropriate cleaners and methods instead.
What is the sizing like for the adidas Handball Spezial?
The sizing generally runs true to size for most wearers. It's advisable to consult an adidas size chart or try them on if possible, especially when ordering online.
Are there other color options available?
Yes, the Handball Spezial series is available in various colorways, including beige and other combinations of white, green, and indigo, depending on the specific release and retailer.
What is the warranty period for these shoes?
Warranty information typically varies by retailer and region. Please refer to the terms and conditions provided at the point of purchase or contact adidas customer support for details.
Troubleshooting
Suede appears dirty or matted
Use a suede brush to gently lift the nap and remove surface dirt. For stubborn marks, consult a specialized suede cleaner.
Shoes feel too tight
Wear with thinner socks initially. If the fit is persistently uncomfortable, consider if this is the correct size or if a break-in period is needed. If purchased new, check the retailer's return/exchange policy.
Laces fraying
Replace laces with new ones. Many retailers offer replacement adidas laces.
Sole becoming detached
This is a significant defect. Contact the retailer or adidas customer service for warranty information or repair options.
