FAQs
What is the Mips® Protection System?
Mips® is a low-friction layer inside the helmet designed to help reduce rotational forces transmitted to the brain during certain angled impacts, enhancing safety.
Is this helmet suitable for everyday trail riding?
While it offers excellent protection, its full-face design and features are optimized for more aggressive riding like downhill or bike park sessions. For lighter trail riding, other helmet styles might offer better ventilation and lighter weight.
How do I clean the helmet's interior padding?
The interior padding is typically removable and can be hand-washed with mild soap and cool water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
Does the helmet meet international safety standards?
Yes, the Fox Rampage helmet meets the NTA-8776 E-bike helmet certification standard, indicating it meets specific safety requirements for E-bike use.
Can I wear glasses with this helmet?
The adjustable, goggle-compatible visor is designed to work with most standard mountain bike goggles. While some glasses may fit underneath, it's best to test with your specific eyewear.
What is the warranty period for this helmet?
Please refer to the manufacturer's official documentation or retailer for specific warranty information, as it can vary.
