Is the cushion waterproof?
The cushion features a 100% polyester shell that is water-resistant, meaning it can withstand light splashes and moisture. However, it is not fully waterproof and should be protected from heavy rain and prolonged exposure to damp conditions.
What are the exact dimensions of the cushion?
The dimensions are: Cushion Width: 53cm, Seat Depth: 98cm, Thickness: 10cm, Back Length: 67cm.
Can I wash the entire cushion in a washing machine?
The care instructions recommend spot cleaning or gentle hand washing with mild soap and water. Washing the entire cushion, especially the crumb foam filling, in a machine is not advised and may damage the product.
Does this cushion come with a chair frame?
No, the cushion is sold separately. The chair frame is not included with this product.
Where are the Alfresia cushions made?
Alfresia cushions are made in the UK, with the filling and packaging processes taking place at their factories in Greater Manchester.
What material is the cushion made from?
The cushion has a 100% polyester shell and is filled with 10cm crumb foam.
How does the cushion attach to the chair?
A pocket of fabric is attached to the cushion, designed to slide over the top of the chair frame for a secure fit.
Troubleshooting
Cushion does not fit the chair.
Verify the dimensions of your chair against the cushion's measurements (Width 53cm, Seat Depth 98cm, Back Length 67cm). Ensure it is compatible with Alfresia Relaxer chair frames or measure carefully if using with other brands.
Cushion colour appears faded.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading. Try to position the cushion in a shaded area or store it indoors when not in use to maintain colour vibrancy.
Minor stains or dirt on the cushion.
Spot clean immediately with a damp cloth and mild soap. For stubborn stains, refer to the care instructions for a suitable cleaning method.
Cushion feels less plump over time.
The crumb foam filling is designed for durability. Ensure the cushion is not consistently over-compressed. Gentle patting can help redistribute the filling. Avoid washing the foam filling directly.
