The DLX Eilidh Down Jacket is an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts and hikers who require a balance of lightweight insulation and reliable weather protection. Combining a 50/50 down and feather filling with a water-resistant exterior, it offers excellent warmth for cold-weather adventures, though its down construction requires careful maintenance to preserve its loft and performance over time.

No, it is water-resistant, meaning it can handle light rain or snow but is not designed for heavy, prolonged exposure to water.
Yes, use a gentle cycle with a specialized down detergent and ensure it is dried thoroughly to maintain the loft.
Store it hanging up or folded loosely in a dry area rather than keeping it compressed in its carry bag for long durations.
No, the hood is a 'grown-on' design, meaning it is permanently attached to the jacket for maximum protection.
It provides excellent insulation for moderate to cold conditions, but for extreme sub-zero temperatures, it is best used as a mid-layer beneath a shell.
This is common with down products. Gently pull the feather back into the jacket from the inside rather than pulling it through the outer fabric.
Tumble dry on low with dryer balls for 15-20 minutes to restore loft to the down insulation.
To ensure the longevity of the down filling, always store the jacket in a cool, dry place and avoid keeping it compressed in its bag for extended periods. When cleaning, use a specialized down detergent and avoid harsh chemicals or bleach. It is recommended to wash the jacket on a delicate cycle and dry it in a tumble dryer on a low setting, ideally with dryer balls to help fluff the down and prevent clumping. Do not iron or dry clean the jacket as this can damage the insulation properties.
