FAQs
Can I use these boots on artificial grass?
These boots are engineered for firm ground surfaces. Using them on artificial grass may cause excessive wear and potentially affect your warranty or safety.
How do I keep the upper clean?
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth after every use. Avoid submerging in water or using abrasive cleaning agents.
Are the insoles removable?
Yes, the LightstrikePro sockliners can be removed for cleaning or if you need to insert specialized medical orthotics.
Do these boots run true to size?
The F50 Elite features a regular fit. It is recommended to order your standard UK football boot size for the best experience.
What is the purpose of the Lace Cover+?
The Lace Cover+ provides a larger, smoother striking area on the top of the boot, which helps in delivering cleaner contact with the ball when shooting.
Troubleshooting
Accumulated dirt on the Lace Cover+ velcro
Use a soft-bristled brush or a toothpick to gently remove debris from the hook-and-loop fasteners to maintain a strong seal.
Boots feel stiff or uncomfortable
The Hybridtouch+ upper is designed to mold to your foot over time. Ensure you are wearing appropriate football socks and consider shorter sessions for the first few uses to break them in.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance from your adidas F50 Messi Elite boots, begin by ensuring a secure fit using the internal laces before engaging the hook-and-loop Lace Cover+. These boots are designed for natural, dry firm ground surfaces and should not be used on artificial turf or soft, muddy ground as this may cause premature wear or injury. After each game, wipe off any excess mud or dirt using a damp cloth. Never use harsh chemicals or a washing machine to clean them. Always allow the boots to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the materials.
