FAQs
Can this windbreak be used on wooden platforms?
The auger points are designed for soil. For platforms, you will need to use alternative securing methods like bungee cords or platform clips.
Is the material waterproof?
Yes, it is constructed from 3000mm hydrostatic head material, which provides excellent protection against rain and spray.
How do I clean the camo fabric?
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and a damp sponge with mild soap if necessary. Avoid using harsh detergents.
Does it come with a carry bag?
Yes, the windbreak is designed to be packed down compactly and fits into a standard Nash Bank Life storage bag.
Are the poles replaceable?
While durable, spare parts are often available through authorized Nash dealers if a pole is damaged.
Troubleshooting
Pole will not stay at the desired height
Ensure the cam-lock mechanism is fully engaged by twisting it firmly until you feel resistance.
Auger point is difficult to turn in dry ground
Apply water to the ground or use a dedicated ground-baiting tool to loosen the soil before inserting the pole.
Fabric sagging in the wind
Re-tension the material by extending the outer poles and adjusting the tension on the guy ropes.
Pros and Cons

- Adjustable poles accommodate uneven banks
- Lightweight for easy transport
Cons
- Not intended for extreme storm-force winds
- Limited coverage height compared to full bivvies
- Requires manual staking
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up, lay out the windbreak and drive the auger points into the ground at your desired intervals. Use the cam-locking mechanism on each pole to adjust height and tension the material. Always use the provided guy ropes when the wind is gusting to prevent the poles from bending under pressure. After use, ensure the nylon is wiped clean of mud and dried completely before folding to prevent mildew. Store in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the fabric and the cam-lock mechanisms.
