Product Information
Full details
The Trespass Allendale Half Zip Fleece is an ideal layering garment for active children who enjoy outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, or playground play. Designed with lightweight polyester, it provides essential warmth without adding bulk, though it lacks specialized waterproofing, meaning an outer shell is necessary for rainy conditions.

FAQs
Is this fleece waterproof?
No, this is a fleece layer designed for warmth and breathability, not as a waterproof outer shell.
What size is 7-8?
This size is designed to fit children aged approximately 7 to 8 years old.
Can this be worn under a raincoat?
Yes, it is designed specifically as a mid-layer and fits comfortably beneath most rain jackets.
How should I clean the white fabric?
Use a gentle detergent and avoid bleach; treat stains promptly before they set.
Is the material stretchy?
The polyester fabric provides natural flexibility, allowing for a good range of motion during play.
Troubleshooting
Zip feels stuck or difficult to pull
Check for fabric caught in the teeth of the zipper and clear any lint or debris from the slider path.
Fleece appears pilled after washing
Wash the garment inside out to reduce friction against the drum of the washing machine and use a fabric shaver to remove existing pills.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Lightweight and breathable design
- Easy-to-use half-zip mechanism
- Soft material comfortable for all-day wear
- Provides reliable thermal insulation
Cons
- Not windproof or waterproof
- White fabric may show dirt easily
- Limited to mid-layer use in extreme cold
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of the fleece, machine wash it in cold water with similar colors. Avoid using harsh fabric softeners, as these can diminish the moisture-wicking properties of the polyester fibers. Hang dry whenever possible to maintain the structure of the fleece. For layering, this garment is fully compatible with standard waterproof shells or insulated parkas, fitting comfortably underneath without restricting arm movement.
