No, suede is a porous material. It is recommended to use a protective water-repellent spray before wearing them in damp conditions.
No, machine washing will permanently damage the suede material and affect the shoe's structure.
The slip-on design offers some flexibility, but they are built to a standard fit. If you are between sizes, it is advisable to consider your typical UK footwear sizing.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally with cedar or plastic shoe trees to help retain their shape.
While the insole is cushioned for comfort, wearing them with low-cut 'no-show' socks is recommended to keep the interior clean and prevent perspiration from building up.
Gently use a soft-bristled suede brush in one direction to lift the fibers and remove dirt.
Suede may tighten if exposed to moisture; keep them in a dry, cool area and use shoe trees to maintain their shape.
Use a specialized suede eraser to lightly buff the affected area until the mark is reduced.
Because these are slip-on shoes, there is no setup required. For compatibility, ensure you choose your standard UK foot size for an optimal fit, noting that suede tends to soften slightly over time with wear. To maintain the condition of the suede, use a specialized suede brush to remove loose dirt and dust. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air-dry naturally away from direct heat sources, which can cause the suede to crack or shrink. Consider applying a suede-specific water repellent spray before initial wear to provide a protective barrier against the elements.
