Setup, Compatibility & Care
First Use & Fitting
- Unpack: Carefully remove the pumps from their packaging.
- Adjust Strap: Loosen the adjustable strap closure. Place your foot into the shoe.
- Secure Fit: Fasten the strap so it feels secure but not too tight. You should be able to slide a finger comfortably underneath the strap.
- Test Walk: Walk a few steps on a clean, dry surface to ensure comfort and proper fit.
Compatibility
These pumps are versatile due to their classic design and blue suede material. They complement:
- Clothing: Tailored pants, skirts (pencil, A-line, midi), dresses, and even sophisticated denim.
- Colors: The blue suede pairs well with neutrals (black, white, grey, beige), as well as complementary colors like deep greens, burgundies, and subtle yellows.
Care & Maintenance
Maintaining the elegant appearance and longevity of your suede pumps requires specific care:
- Suede Protector: Before the first wear, apply a high-quality suede protector spray to help repel water and stains.
- Regular Brushing: Use a dedicated suede brush to gently remove dirt and dust. Brush in one direction to maintain the nap.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spots, use a suede eraser or a small amount of white vinegar on a clean cloth. Dab gently, do not rub aggressively.
- Drying: If wet, stuff the shoes with paper towels to absorb moisture and maintain shape. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in a dust bag to protect the suede from dust and light. Use shoe trees to help maintain shape.
- Avoid Water: Suede is sensitive to water. Avoid wearing these pumps in heavy rain or wet conditions.
