FAQs

Is this canister airtight?

The canister features a standard lid design and is not airtight, so it is best for items that do not require an airtight seal.

Can I put this in the dishwasher?

No, this canister is hand-wash only to prevent damage to the enamel finish and floral pattern.

What is the total capacity?

The canister holds 1200ml (1.2L) of volume.

What material is it made of?

It is made of durable, sturdy enamel.

Can I store food directly in it?

Yes, it is suitable for food storage, making it perfect for coffee, tea, or dry pantry ingredients.

Is the lid attached to the base?

No, the lid is removable for easy access to the contents.

Troubleshooting

Lid feels loose or insecure

Ensure no debris is caught on the rim of the canister or inside the lid's edge; a clean rim typically allows for a snug fit.

Finish looks dull

Gently buff the exterior with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to restore its natural sheen.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Eye-catching floral pattern serves as decor
  • Generous 1200ml capacity for bulk storage
  • Sturdy enamel build quality
  • Easy to clean surface

Cons

  • Enamel can chip if dropped or handled roughly
  • Not airtight, so not ideal for long-term freshness of sensitive items
  • Hand-wash only to preserve the finish

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your canister looking pristine, avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals that could scratch the enamel or fade the floral pattern. Simply rinse with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly before the first use. It is not dishwasher safe, so hand washing is mandatory to ensure longevity. Place the canister on a stable, flat surface to prevent accidental tipping, as enamel can be prone to cracking or chipping on hard surfaces like granite or tile floors.
