Yes, the comfortable cushioning and lightweight design make them suitable for everyday walking and casual wear, in addition to their intended use for trail running and hiking.

The lifespan of trail running shoes varies depending on usage, terrain, and individual weight. Generally, most runners replace their shoes between 300-500 miles (500-800 km) or when cushioning feels significantly reduced or traction wears down.

These shoes feature a breathable, see-through upper that is not waterproof. They are designed for ventilation and may get wet in rainy conditions or during stream crossings.

Adjust the lacing system. Ensure the laces are tied securely but not so tight that they restrict circulation. Re-lacing using different patterns can also help optimize fit.

Ensure the Vibram Megagrip outsole is clean and free from mud or debris. The compound is designed for wet grip, but contamination can reduce its effectiveness.

While the upper is designed for breathability, consider wearing moisture-wicking socks. Ensure the laces are not tied too tightly, which can restrict airflow.

Verify that the shoe is the correct size and width. Ensure the CMEVA midsole cushioning has not degraded significantly; consider replacement if the shoes have extensive mileage.
