Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting, ensure the temperature is above 5 degrees Celsius and no rain is forecast. Clean all surfaces thoroughly, removing loose debris or peeling old paint. If you are applying to bare wood, it is recommended to use a wood preserver first to prevent decay. Stir the paint thoroughly before and during use to ensure even pigment distribution. For application, use a high-quality brush or a designated Cuprinol sprayer. Once applied, the paint is touch dry in approximately 1 hour, though you must wait 8 hours between coats. Tools can be cleaned easily with water once the job is finished. Store the container in a frost-free environment to maintain the paint's consistency for future touch-ups.
