These ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws have a universally accepted, Pozi compatible drive. They feature 6 underhead lobes for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, along with reinforced countersunk necks that enhance holding power. The screws are equipped with an anti-friction thread, which minimizes timber splitting, reduces 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and improves drawing strength. The thread is serrated for better pull-out resistance and lower insertion torque. A double cutting point ensures faster drilling times, less wood dust clogging, and the ability to pierce 0.8mm steel. The screws boast an 'Elementech 400' coating, providing an anti-corrosive metal finish that lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. This coating is environmentally friendly, contains no Cr6, and has passed a 400-hour Salt Spray test. Suitable for interior use.
