Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These shoes are designed to be compatible with most mountain bike clipless pedal systems. Ensure you have the correct cleats for your pedals and that they are installed according to the pedal manufacturer's instructions. Insert the cleats into the designated sole slots and tighten securely.
Compatibility: Compatible with SPD (Shimano Pedaling Dynamics) and similar 2-bolt cleat systems commonly used for mountain biking. Always check your pedal system's specifications.
Care:
- Cleaning: After riding, wipe down the shoes with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. For stubborn dirt, use mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry completely at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Boa System: Periodically check the Boa dial and laces for any debris. Use a dry brush or a slightly damp cloth to clean the mechanism. Do not use lubricants on the Boa system unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
