FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for running?

No, these are specifically designed for tennis. They provide lateral stability rather than the forward-motion cushioning required for distance running.

Can I use these on grass courts?

The outsole is designed for standard tennis court surfaces. Check your specific local court surface requirements.

How do I ensure I have the right size?

The Dedicate 9 follows standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to leave a thumb's width of space at the toe.

Are these machine washable?

No, machine washing can damage the structural integrity and support components of the trainers.

What is the primary surface for these shoes?

They are optimized for hard-court tennis performance.

Troubleshooting

Foot feels loose inside the shoe during play

Ensure the laces are tightened evenly from the bottom eyelets up to secure the midfoot.

Outer sole losing traction

Check the outsole for accumulated clay or dust; wipe with a damp cloth to restore grip.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent lateral support for quick direction changes
High-traction outsole optimized for tennis courts

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best experience, ensure you have the correct UK sizing for your specific foot shape, as a locked-in fit is critical for tennis performance. When not in use, store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the materials. To clean the shoes, wipe them down with a damp cloth after matches to remove court dust and debris. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can degrade the specialized support structures in the midsole and upper.
