The 'Made in UK' designation signifies that the trainers are manufactured in New Balance's factory in Flimby, Cumbria, UK, a mark of heritage craftsmanship and quality.
The upper is constructed with a combination of classic pig suede, mesh, and synthetic materials.
While comfortable for walking and everyday use, the 991v2 is primarily designed as a lifestyle trainer, not for high-impact athletic training.
It is recommended to consult the official New Balance size guide, which provides measurements to help you find your best fit. For the 991v2, UK sizing is provided.
The suede material is not ideal for prolonged exposure to wet conditions. While they offer some protection, it is best to avoid wearing them in heavy rain and ensure they are dried properly if they get damp.
This model features a grey color family with secondary brown earth tones.
Refer to the New Balance sizing chart and consider trying on multiple sizes if possible. Different models can have slight variations.
Use a suede brush to gently remove surface dirt. For tougher stains, consult specialized suede cleaning products and follow their instructions carefully.
Ensure the laces are adjusted properly. Break-in periods can vary; wear them for short durations initially and gradually increase wear time.
These trainers require no specific setup. They are designed for immediate wear. Compatibility is broad, as they are unisex footwear suitable for adults.
