Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your clogs, use the metal buckle to adjust the strap to your preferred tension; the shoe should feel secure but not restrictive. To ensure the longevity of your Birkenstocks, brush the suede upper regularly with a soft-bristle brush to remove dirt and maintain the nap. If the footbed becomes slightly soiled, use a damp cloth to wipe the surface gently, but avoid soaking the cork directly. Keep your clogs away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, as intense heat can cause the cork to dry out or crack. Store them in a cool, dry place when not in use to preserve the integrity of the materials.
