Product Information

Full details

The VEVOR Teleskop-Astsäge is an ideal solution for homeowners and professional arborists who need to trim high branches safely from the ground without the use of a ladder. Featuring a modular fiberglass pole system that extends from 215.3 cm to a massive 809.3 cm, this tool provides exceptional reach for canopy maintenance. While the extended length offers great utility, users should note that operating the tool at full extension requires significant physical stability and careful handling to maintain control.

FAQs

Can I replace the blade if it breaks?

Yes, the blade is detachable and can be replaced with compatible 65Mn steel blades.

What is the maximum reach of the tool?

The tool can be extended to a total length of 809.3 cm.

Is the pole conductive?

The pole is made of fiberglass, which is generally less conductive than aluminum, but you should still exercise extreme caution and avoid contact with power lines.

How many segments are included?

The kit includes 8 modular pole segments.

Do I need any special tools for assembly?

No, the threaded connections are designed for tool-free, hand-tightened assembly.

Is the storage bag waterproof?

The storage bag is designed for transport and dust protection; it is recommended to keep the tool in a dry location.

Troubleshooting

Pole segments becoming loose during use

Ensure that the threaded connections are clean of debris and tightened firmly before each use.

Blade feels dull after heavy use

Check the teeth for sap buildup; clean with a resin remover and ensure the blade is correctly tightened to the top pole.

Difficulty controlling the pole at full length

Reduce the number of segments to only what is required to reach the target branch, or work with an assistant for balance.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Significantly reduces ladder reliance for safety
High-grade 65Mn-steel blade stays sharp longer
Modular system allows for customization of length
Easy to transport with included storage bag
Lightweight fiberglass construction for improved handling

Cons

Handling at maximum 8-meter length requires practice
Requires manual effort for sawing
Needs careful cleaning to prevent rust on internal joints

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly is straightforward: screw the desired number of poles together clockwise until snug. Always check that every thread is fully engaged before elevating the blade. For care, wipe down the 65Mn steel blade with a light coat of machine oil after every use to maintain the anti-rust coating's integrity. After trimming tasks, inspect the fiberglass poles for any cracks or heavy abrasions. Store the tool in the provided bag in a cool, dry environment, ensuring the segments are completely dry to prevent internal thread corrosion.
