This guide is for parents and guardians looking for a warm, practical, and durable fleece for active children aged 3-4 years in a green color. The key benefit is its soft, anti-bobble fleece that keeps kids cosy during outdoor play and layering on cooler days, while zipped pockets offer secure storage. A minor caveat is that it's designed as a layering piece and may not be sufficient on its own in very cold weather. Key features include durable Symmetry fleece, anti-pill finish, stretch binding for a snug fit, and multiple zipped pockets.

No, the Regatta Junior Frankie Fleece is made from polyester fleece and is not waterproof. It is designed for warmth and comfort and can be layered under a waterproof jacket.
Machine wash at 40°C with similar colors. Avoid bleach and do not iron. Tumble drying on low heat can help maintain softness, but air drying is also effective.
It provides good warmth as a mid-layer. For very cold weather, it is recommended to layer it over a base layer and under a more protective outer jacket for optimal warmth and weather protection.
Symmetry fleece is a type of polyester fabric used by Regatta. It is known for being soft, lightweight, warm, and resistant to bobbling (pilling).
Yes, the fleece features two lower zipped pockets and one zipped chest pocket, ensuring that items stored inside are kept secure.
Ensure you are using a mild detergent and avoid fabric softeners, which can sometimes affect fleece texture. Try a low-heat tumble dry with a couple of dryer balls to help soften it.
Gently rub a graphite pencil tip or a bit of lip balm along the zipper teeth. Avoid forcing the zipper, as this can cause damage.
While designed to resist bobbling, excessive friction can sometimes cause minor pilling. Ensure correct washing procedures (avoiding over-washing with abrasive items) and use the anti-pill feature benefit. If pilling occurs, it can often be gently removed with a fabric shaver.
Setup: No specific setup is required for the Regatta Junior Frankie Fleece; it is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
Compatibility: This fleece is designed as a standalone piece or as a layering item compatible with other outerwear such as waterproof jackets, windbreakers, or heavier winter coats.
